Things to do in Zhoushan

Where is Zhoushan & Things to do

Zhoushan is China's bridgehead and maritime opening to the Pacific Rim Economic Circle, with superior port and coastline resources. Six of China's seven international shipping routes pass through Zhoushan, which is the core component of Ningbo Zhoushan Port, the world's largest port.

In recent years, taking advantage of national strategies and relying on the national-level new district and the river-ocean combined transport service center, Zhoushan has created a world-class business environment, with the Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone as the leader, and the entire oil and gas industry chain as the highlight. Seven of the world's top ten international oil and gas giants have settled here, and the 40-million-ton integrated refining chemical project (Phase I), the world's largest single project with the largest investment, has fully reached its design capacity. At present, Zhoushan is focusing on petrochemical, aviation, new materials, equipment manufacturing, marine electronic information, life and health and other fields, aiming to build several trillion-or-billion-level modern marine industry clusters with core competitiveness.
